Raneshia Boyd

September 11, 1991 ~ May 28, 2026 (age 34)

A precious life was born on September 11, 1991, when Raneshia Rashay Boyd entered the world as the beloved daughter of Sherry Boyd and Michael Robinson. On Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee, Raneshia peacefully departed this life and entered into eternal rest.

Raneshia professed her hope in Christ and was a faithful member of New Bethel - God’s House of Promise Ministries. Her faith served as a foundation throughout her life and provided strength, guidance, and comfort to those who knew and loved her.

She graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 2010 and went on to establish a strong work ethic and commitment to service. Raneshia was employed by KFC for eight years, where she served as a Shift Supervisor. At the time of her passing, she was employed as a Correctional Officer at the Whiteville Correctional Facility in Whiteville, Tennessee.

Those who knew Raneshia will remember her for her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her generosity was freely given, never expecting anything in return. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply her presence, Raneshia touched countless lives and left an unforgettable impression on all who knew her.

Raneshia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Earnestine Boyd, and Ozell and Pearleen Robinson; and by two uncles, Bobby James Moore and Michael Boyd.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her loving mother, Sherry Boyd of Bolivar, Tennessee; two sisters: Ranita Cox of Columbus, Georgia and Shelanda (Benjamin) Lax of Bolivar, Tennessee; five brothers: Roderrick Boyd of Phenix City, Alabama, Michael (Dominique) Rivers of Lebanon, Tennessee, Desantis (Tasha Polk) Robinson of LaVergne, Tennessee, Mark (Katoya) Parham of Bolivar, Tennessee and Myquone Clark of Bolivar, Tennessee: one great uncle Charlie Boyd (Katherine) of Cleveland, Ohio, six uncles: Roy Pirtle, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Marco Boyd of Humboldt, Tennessee, Jerry (Blanche) Cox of Bolivar, Tennessee, Tony Cox of Cordova, Tennessee, Joe Peeler of Grand Junction, Tennessee, and Charles Boyd (Elizabeth) of Bolivar, Tennessee; three aunts: Ruth Boyd Lake of Bolivar, Tennessee, Debra Smith of Maryland and Gail Moore of Maryland. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends who will miss her deeply
