Ray Anthony Boyd passed away on Saturday March 1, 2025.  He was born on January 25, 1972 to the late Roseanna and John Allen Palmer.  

His funeral service was held on Saturday March 15, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie Funeral Home with Minister Elliott Wilkes in charge.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.  

He accepted Jesus Christ at a young age.

He was educated in the Hardeman and Fayette County public school systems.

He was employed at Hooper Sawmill for many years until his health declined.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister, Christopher Palmer and Danielle Palmer.

He leaves to cherish his memory a long time girlfriend, Vivian Wilkes; three children, LaKendall and Raven Wilkes and Anthony Wilkes;

one brother, John Palmer and one sister, Hazel (William) Valentine;  three grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
