Rayford Junus Turner

August 2, 1964 ~ June 8, 2023  (age 58)

Rayford J. Turner, 58, of Bolivar passed away on Thursday June 8, 2023.  He was born on August 2, 1964 to the late Lee Bertha Turner.

His funeral service was held on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Parham in charge.  Dixie Benefit Association and Funeral Home, Inc. (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

He confessed a hope in Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Campbell's Chapel MB Church.  

He was educated in the Hardeman County public schools and was a member of the Hardeman County Committee for Black History.

He was a known person throughout the county and was a hard and dedicated worker.  

He leaves to cherish one son, Ezro Mateo Vance; two brothers, Felton and Glen (Dora) Turner; many other family members and friends that will truly miss him.
