His funeral service was held on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 11:00 am at Dixie Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Faith Payne in charge. Burial was in the New Life Community Church Cemetery in Somerville, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

A Time to Be Born 

Ricky Leon Jones better known to his family and friends as Ricky was born February 28, 1967, to the late Donzell Jones, Sr. and Rosie Mae Jones in Whiteville, Tennessee. 

A Time for Eternal Rest 

On Friday, July 23, 2021, God dispatched his angel of mercy to rescue the soul of his beloved child Ricky and carried him to a place of peace and rest in His eternal kingdom.

He was proceeded in death by his father; Donzell Jones Sr. and three brothers: Clarence William Morgan and Michael Jones.

A Time to Live

Ricky accepted Christ in his life at an early age. He obtained an education in the Hardeman County School System where he attended Bolivar Central High School. While in school, he worked at the Aristocrat Hotel until he graduated in 1989. After graduation, he was employed at Hardee's for two years after which he began his career at Pine Meadows Healthcare. Ricky was employed at Pine Meadows Healthcare for 26 years until his health started declining. Ricky was cared fro a the family home by his loving mother, nephew, Keivon Jones and family until his untimely demise. If you knew Ricky, you knew he had a million-dollar smile that could light up any room. Ricky's greatest passion in life was the love and devotion he had for his family and those close to him. He will be remembered and cherished as a loving and devoted son, brother, and uncle who was adored by his family. 

A Time to Mourn

Those left to cherish found memories are his loving and devoted mother; Rosie Mae Jones, sseven loving siblings: three brothers: Donzell Jones Jr., Jerry (Mary) Jones and Robert (Nicole) Jones; four sisters: Patricia (Sherman) Morgan, Mary Neely, Beatrice Jones, and Rosie Marie Jones; a special niece/sister, Cassandra Giles and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends.
