His memorial service was held on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 12:00 noon at New Mt. Pleasant MB Church in Middleton, Tn.  Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Robert Brown was born on September 13, 1954 to Richard Blake and Sally Lou Brown.He was united in Holy Matrimony to Gennett Brown in Tiplersville, MS on July 4, 1991. Robert was known as “Smokey.” Robert enjoyed watching wrestling and taking care of his family.

He was always happy to help with anybody. He will be greatly missed.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Richard Blake and Sally Lou Brown: two sisters; Frances Blake and Shirley Brown: two brothers; Bill Blake and Earnest Blake: one son; Kerry Johnson. Robert leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of thirty years; Gennett Brown: three daughters; LaTonya Brown, Tina Traylor, and Kayla (Tyrone) Johnson: one son; Bryant (Jennifer): eleven grandchildren: two great grandchildren: two brothers; Alvis (Edna) Blake and Ricky Blake: four sisters; Marie Blake, Teresa (LaFayette) Dickerson, Janet Hines, and Peggy Blake along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
