Roy Chester Hendrix passed away on Monday June 23, 2025.  He was born on February 17, 1946 to the late Hugh and Perlee Hendrix.  

His funeral service was held on Sunday June 29, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Tyrone Hendrix in charge.  Burial was in the Crisp Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.  

He gave his life the Jesus Christ at an early age.  

He leaves to cherish his memory five daughters, Perlee Madison, Flora Barber, Mary Harris, Martha Pirtle and Linda Taylor; two sons, Dwayne Hendrix and Percy (Gracie) Barber; one sister, Eula Mae Blake; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
