Ruby Mae Woods

March 3, 1926 ~ December 25, 2022 (age 96)

Ruby Mae Woods was born to the late Mamie Morrow in Bolivar, TN.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday December 31, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall with Brother Curtis McCray in charge.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Ruby attended school in Humbolt, TN and reside in Humbolt until her early twenties.

Ruby was a homemaker and she had a passion was making quilts.

She confessed her life to Jehovah in 1987 when she was baptized into the Kingdom Hall. She remained a witness until her death.

Ruby spent the last two years living with her daughter, Gloria (Bennie) Camper. Ruby was preceded in death by two sons; James Woods and Lee Chester Woods.

Ruby leaves to cherish her memories: four children; Mable Jean Griffin of Chicago, IL, Merline McNeal of Detroit, MI, Johnny Ray Cross (Kathleen) of Bolivar, TN, and Gloria (Bennie) Camper of Grand Junction, TN and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
