Russell Lee Hunt was born to the late Marshall Lambert and Rosie Hunt on August 20, 1967 in Grand Junction, TN.

He attended Hardeman County Schools and later moved to Nashville, TN.

Russell graduated from truck driving school in 2003 and drove trucks until his health failed in 2012.

Russell was united in Holy Matrimony to Nancy Embrey and to this union, two children was born.

Russell loved his family and he enjoyed life to the fullest. Russell was preceded in death by his father; two sisters; Allie Hunt , Pat Lambert, and Lisa Griggs.

Russell leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter; Brandy Alexandria Hunt: one son; Brandon Alexander Hunt: one grandchild; Dana Hunt: brothers; Tyris Hunt, James (May Lee) Hunt, Woody Lambert, Sam Lambert, Terry Lambert, Marshall Smith, Donald Smith, Mickey Smith: sisters; Virgie Lambert, Linda Lambert, Shirley Lawrence, Sharon Lambert, Megan Lambert. He also leaves special friends; Donna K. Durham, Patsy Wells, Ulander Venable, Melvin Arnette and Uncle Woody Hunt: special cousin; Margie Schnell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
