Sandy Eugene Bowers, 62, passed away suddenly on Saturday June 15, 2024.  He was born on February 14, 1962 to Earlean Bowers and tha late Clyde Braddock.

His funeral service was held on Saturday June 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Herbert Murphy in charge.  Burial was in the Little Walnut Grove Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

He attended the Hardeman County public schools and was a Bolivar Central High School graduate and after high school attended Tennessee State University.

He was married to the late Jernice Bowers.  

He was employed at Harmaon International and Whiteville Correctional Facility where he retired due to illness.

He was not a man of many words, but action.  He was a member of Amazing Grace COGIC and later joined Open Arms Outreach Ministries.  

He loved his family and friends and being around food.

Preceding him in death was his father and two sisters, Nellie and Patricia.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Stefan Bowers; his mother; three brothers, Clyde (Joann), Daryl (Sadie) and Aaron (Grenesha) Braddock; one sister, Caroline Smith and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
