Sarah Frances Hamer was born October 19, 1970 in Ripley, MS to the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus and Gertha Richardson of Saulsbury, TN.

Her memorial service was held on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Dixie Funeral Home with Elder Willie Hoyle in charge.  Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Superintendent Bernell Hoyle, later joining the Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Corinth, MS. She was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Troy Hamer September 05, 1987 and to this union one child was born Ms. Tralyssa Hamer of Corinth, MS.

Sarah was an Ancillary Services Coordinator for the Women’s Care Center of Memphis serving the citizens of the Mid-South for 21 years.

Preceding her in death, her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Gus and Gertha Richardson: her grandparents; Mr. Augustus (Tank) Richardson, Mrs. Lizzie Mae (Hera) Richardson – Kendrick, Mrs. Lizzie Mae Hoyle and Mr. William Mason: one aunt; Mrs. Christine Smith: her mother -in-law; Mrs. Elcylean Hamer.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband; Mr. Troy Hamer: a beautiful daughter; Ms. Tralyssa Hamer of Corinth, MS: four siblings; Mr. Johnny Shaw of Whiteville, TN, Ms. Sandra Richardson and Ms. Evelyn Richardson both of Saulsbury, TN, and Mr. Gregory Austin of Oakland, TN: two nieces; Ms. LeighKrecia Richardson, and Ms. Khadijah Richardson: one nephew; Mr. Brendan McNeal: one great-nephew; Mr. Cordell Richardson and a host of other nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law which she cherished dearly.
