Sarah Mae Taylor born August 3, 1942 in Whiteville TN to the late Percy and Mary Lee Taylor. She later moved to Bolivar TN. She attended Hardeman County Schools.
Her graveside service was held on Saturday April 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Jones Grove MB Cemetery with Pastor Algie Jarrett in charge. Dixie funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
She confessed a hope in Christ and joined Jones Grove M.B. Church and later moved her membership to Mt. Calvary MB Church where she remained a member until her death.
Sarah was employed by Harmon Automotive. After many years of employment, she retired in 1996. Following her retirement, she worked as a Caregiver and a Nana.
Sarah was preceded in death by her sisters; Sallie Mae Crisp, Rosie Brown, Willie Jane Robinson, Dorothy Cleveland and her brother; Percy Lee Taylor Jr “Billy”.
Sarah met Jerry Lee Parham and with this relationship four children were born.
Sarah leaves to cherish her memories: four children; Tanglar Taylor, Angelia (Michael) Hollister, Andre (Kimberly) Parham, and Titus Parham: eighteen grandchildren; Latonya (Antonio) Davis, Tory Taylor, Taylor Robertson, Michael (Karen) Hollister, Jeremy (Meca) Hollister, Troy Hollister, Mackenzie Parham, DeAndre Parham, Myron Parham, Alouria Parham, Titus Parham Jr, Anaya Neal, Kayden Pryor, Ka’mya Pryor, Kandace Walker, Brandon Chism, Kendrick Marcell, and Orlandos Rutherford: seven great grandchildren; Lucas Hollister, Taylen Hamer, Xavier Anderson-Hollister, Kailynn Taylor, Kailee Taylor, Xavier Davis, and Jayden Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, god children and friends.
