Scottie Bernard Edwards aka "Ready Roc" was born May 26, 1967 to Mary Edwards and the late Henry L. Edwards. 

Scottie lived his life to the fullest.  On Friday, June 13, 2025, he traded this life for eternal life.

His funeral service was held on Saturday June 21, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home. Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Mary L. Edwards of Kankakee, IL; one daughter, Scottia Edwards of Kankakee, IL; one grandchild, Khalyiah Edwards of Jackson, TN; young lady whom he raised as his own, Mia Griffin; two sisters, Angela Buggs of Bolivar, TN and Wanda Norman of Kankakee, IL; three brothers, Jnail, Marco, and Howard Edwards all of Bolivar, TN; four nephews, Nolen (Britney) of Jackson, TN, James Pruitt and Justin Pruitt both of Nashville, TN. and Kynston of Murfreesboro, TN; two nieces, Adrian Harris and Melensia Ragland; A special aunt, Katherine (SIs) Moore of Bolivar, TN; a very special friend, Nikki Greer of Bolivar, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
