Terry was born September 15, 1954 to Freddie & Jennie Cross, who preceded him in death.

His funeral service was held on saturday October 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Campbell's Chapel MB Church with pastor William Young in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Terry attended Hardeman County Schools and graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1972.

Shortly after graduation, he joined The United States Air Force. He served 18 1/2 years before retiring.

Upon returning home, Terry lived his life to the fullest. He loved and cared for his family. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by four brothers, Freddie Cross, Jr., David Cross, Sr. Kenneth Cross, and Greg Cross; one sister, Taletha Traylor.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Terrance Cross of Atlanta GA; four sisters, Shirley Cross of Murfreesboro TN, Rhonda Cross of Jackson TN, Mary Coby and Annie Cross of Bolivar TN; three brothers, Larry Cross (Brenda) of Nashville TN, Johnny Cross of Murfreesboro TN, and Robert E. Woods of Bolivar TN; two sisters-in-law, Kandis Cross, of Bolivar TN and Brenda Cross of Nashville TN; a close friend who was there anytime he needed her, Miss Lisa McNeal and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
