Tom Brown was born August 9, 1944 to the late Mr. Robert and Mrs. Fannie Mae Brown.

His funeral service was held on Wednesday July 7, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor William Young in charge.  Burial was in the Campbell Chapel Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Tom accepted Christ at an very early age and united with The New Hope MB Church and later joined Campbell Chapel MB Church. Tom loved spending time with his family. He loved fishing, and love to barbecue.

Tom departed his life on June 26, 2021in the presence of his loving wife and grandchildren in their home. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers; George Brown, Joseph Brown, Charlie Brown, Dave Brown, Gus Brown and Don Brown.

Tom leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Ora B. Brown: four sons; Danny Brown, Leroy Brown, Tommy Brown, Thomas Brown all of Fulton, KY: one daughter; Towasha Brown of Jackson, TN: two boys he raised as his own; Derrick Nathan and Arthur Polk, Jr: five sisters; Liller (Walter) Joy, Clara (Clarence) Woods, Alice Woods, Peggy (Nathan) Gibbs and Sarah Rivers: one brother; John (Alberta) Brown: ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren: four special friends; Marbleane Embrey, Leon Herron, Charlie Holt, and Bill Chatman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
