Tommie Lee Woods, Jr. was born July 18th, 1980 in Somerville TN to Tommie L. Woods, Sr. & Earnestine Pledge Woods. Tommie Jr. departed this life on October 15th, 2025.

His funeral service was held on Saturday October 25, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Greater Springfield MB Church with Reverend Earnest Polk in charge.  Burial was in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneral home.com was in charge of the professional service.

Tommie Woods, Jr. was educated in Hardeman County Public School System. He graduated from Bolivar Central High School.

Tommie confessed Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Mt. Tabor M.B. Church in Clifton, TN.

Tommie was employed at Madison Haywood of Jackson, TN, and Kilgore Flares in Toone, TN before his health failed.

Tommie Jr. was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Joe Frank Woods and Alexander Pledge.

God blessed Tommie with two children to cherish his memories, one son, Eric Brown of Louisville, KY and one daughter, Zyleria Baylin Woods of Jackson, TN; one grandson, Traylin Johnson of Jackson, TN.

Tommie also leaves to cherish his memories: his loving parents, Tommie Sr. and Earnestine Woods; brother, Demetric Shun Woods (Yasmine); two grandmothers, Alice Woods and Clementine Pledge and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, relatives and friends.
