Tommy Lee Brown

February 17, 1963 ~ July 19, 2022 (age 59)

Mr. Tommy Lee Brown passed away suddenly on Tuesday July 19, 2022.  He was born February 17, 1963 in Hardeman County to Mrs. Annie Mae Brown and the late Mr. Willie Frank Brown.

His funeral service was held on Saturday July 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at the jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Reverend B.L. Jackson in charge.  Burial was in the May's Hill Church Cemetery-Hickory Valley and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He accepted the Lord as his Savior and became a member of New Bethel M. B. Church, located in Bolivar, Tennessee.

Tommie Lee was a strong and kindhearted man. He was one of a kind, Tom, loved fishing, hunting, and spending time talking and laughing with family and friends. He had a walk that you could spot a mile away. One of his favorite drinks was coffee and the other was a cold bud light. He worked at the Sawmill and Bolivar Energy Authority until he departed this earthly realm. Tom was a hard worker, and he loved even harder.

Three sisters, Dorothy and Josephine Woods, Lydia Woods and one brother, Marshall Brown preceded him in death.

Tommy Lee is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Lillie Mae Brown, whom he dearly loved; his only daughter, Tabria (Deonta) Kirkwood; five stepsons: Mr. Mario Bonner, Mr. Marcus Bonner, Mr. George Bonner, Mr. Leon Mays, and Mr. Jameris Kirkwood; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
