Tommy Lee Spencer

September 19, 1955 ~ February 26, 2025

69  Years Old

Tommy  L. Spencer was born on September 19, 1955 to the late Mr. Ernest Jarrett and the late Ms. Leola Spencer. He attended schools in the Hardeman County School system. He graduated from Bolivar Central High School, class of 1975.

His funeral service was held on Friday March 7, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Antioch MB Church with Reverend Jermaine Shaw in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.come was in charge of the professional service.

Tommy accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Antioch M.B. Church in Whiteville, TN.    Later in life, Tommy  married Ms. Reshenna Rollins-Spencer and had a beautiful family, whom he loved dearly.

Mr. Spencer was a hard worker. He was employed at CCA (Core Civic) in Whiteville, TN from 1997 until he retired in 2018. Everyone knew him as "Chief". 

Afterwards, he then became employed at Pine Meadows Healthcare from 2020 until 2023. 

He loved to dress up. Every where he went, he was the life of the party. 

Tommy departed this life on February 26, 2025.

Tommy leaves to cherish his memories to his wife; Reshenna Spencer, his son; Andre D. Spencer, 2 stepsons; Marcus Rollins Sr. and Deshawn Dantzler, 2 grandsons; Marcus Rollins Jr. and Ashton Rollins his twin; Homer (Michelle Wilkes) Spencer, his siblings;  Roy (Tawanda) Taylor, Earnest (Beverly) Spencer and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, C.H. Woods and 1 sister; Thelma Jean Robertson.
