Tony Edward was born 01/23/1961 to the late Johnnie Mae Edwards and Willie Ray Rutherford. Tony was adopted and raised by Walter and Louise Edwards.
Tony live life to the fullest. He enjoyed being with his friends and love ones.

His funeral service was held on Saturday March 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com.

Tony accepted Christ at an early age and joined Ezekiel MB Church in Jackson, TN.

Tony was preceded in by his birth parents and his adopted parents: two brothers; Ray Hollis, and George Hollis: two daughters; Lakayisha and Laishiea Gray.

Tony leaves to cherish his memories four children; Lakeshia Gray and Tony Gray of Jackson, Tn., Latoya Butler of Memphis, Tn., and Walter Gray of St. Louis,
MO.: his brothers; Michael Hollis, Brian Lane, Terry Rutherford, and Timmy Rutherford all of Memphis; his sisters Michelle Hollis of Memphis, Louvenia
(George) Garret, and Doris (Reverend Steven) Terry, both of Eastpoint, MI; five grandchildren: one uncle; Earl Wyne Walker of Memphis, TN., one great uncle; Johnnie B. Edwards of Memphis; three close friends, Donnie Dilworth from Grand Junction, Deacon George and Vanessa White of Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
