Willie Tran "Tot" Gibson

August 1, 1939 ~ November 16, 2021 (age 82)

Willie Tran Gibson of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Tuesday November 16, 2021.  He was born on August 1, 1939 to the late Albert and Calverta Glass Gibson.  

His funeral service was held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Union Hill MB Church-Ashland, MS with Pastor Randale Woodard in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.  

After to passing of his mother in childbirth he was raised by Malinda Walls.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Union Hill. He attended school at Old Salem School graduating in 1958.  He was a Mason

He was married to Annie Gibson and loved spending time with her and family.  

He was employed for thirty-two years in Daimler Chrysler retiring in 2004.  He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, playing cards and watching old western movies.

 Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Tran L. Gibson and a sister, Bobbie Hill.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; sons, Ronnie (Suzanne) Davis and Mike (Michelle) Copeland; one daughter, Phyllis (David) Carter; two brothers, Maso and U.C. (Roberta) Gibson;  ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
