Life Reflections
A Good and Faithful Servant
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 (KJV)

Elnora Williams was born April 5, 1941 Mr. Robert Henry and Mrs.  Elsie Mae Hudson-Williams, who both preceded her in death..  She was born and reared in Hardeman County, Tennessee.  At an early age, Elnora accepted Christ as her Lord and savior at Greater Springfield Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Pastor J. H. Porter.

Later, she united with Zion Temple COGIC under the leadership of the late Tommie McTizic.  In 1970, she was baptized and joined Whitehall Church of God under the Pastoral care of Bishop Walter McBride.  In 1989, Mother Love moved her membership to Straight Way Apostolic Faith Church, under the pastoral    leadership of Bishop Richard H. She steadfastly supported every project and special fund of Straight Way.  She even prepaid her Sunday School Benevolence fund through November 2016.  Mother Love actively enjoyed serving on the following auxillaries: Kitchen staff, Haiti Missions, Motherboard, Sisterhood and was an outstanding Usher for over twenty-five years.
Nobie, as she was affectionately called, received her formal education in the Hardeman County school system and graduated from Allen-White High School, class of 1959.  She obtained her cosmetology    license in Chicago, Illinois.
Once she united in holy matrimony to Mr. Edgar Lee “Butch” Lockett Jr., their family resided in         Chicago. While Mrs. Lockett was in Chicago, her husband and middle son, Demetruis, preceded her in death. She returned to her home in Tennessee.  She worked in the Hardeman County School system for many years and loved the children in the community as well as her own.  In 1997 she married Mr. Willie Howard Love. Everyone felt the kind spirit of Mother Elnora Williams Lockett-Love.
