MARY LOUISE CHAMPION

February 2, 1962 ~ January 27, 2017 (age 54)

Mary Louise Champion, 54, of Bolivar passed away on Friday January 27, 2017.  She was born on February 2, 1962  in Illinois to Frankie Champion Johnson the late  Leviord Champion and Frankie Champion Johnson. 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Campbell Chapel MBC with Bishop Jesse Williams in charge.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com in charge of the professional service.

Mary was reared in Tennessee. She attended Hardeman County Schools. She was part f the graduating class of 1980.

Mary confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Union Spring MB Church where she remained a member until her health failed.

Mary was employed for ten years at Hardeman Automotive and later worked part time for several years as a Home Health Nurse in Bolivar, TN.

Mary was preceded in death by her father; Leviord Champion Sr.: one son who departed on November 24, 2016; Antwain Champion: one brother; Kenneth Champion.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories: her dear mother; Frankie Champion Johnson: one daughter; Stephanie (Brian) Watson of Spring Hill, TN; one son; Ashley “Pap” (Christina) Champion of Jacksonville, AR; three grandchildren; Latrell Watson, Ladarius Watson and Ayden Christopher Champion: seven brothers; Leviord Champion, Jr., Phillip (Joyce) Champion, Stacy (Keisha) Champion all of Bolivar, TN., Andrew (Trina) champion and Anthony (Jean) Champion of Jackson, TN., Ray (Yvette) Champion of Tallahassee, FL., Murriel (Tanya) Champion of Tucson, AZ.: her fiancé; Joe Johnson; ten step siblings; four special cousins, Jeffery Norment, Vickie Hampton, Lisa Murphy, and Quincy Bowers and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and a host of friends that loved her dearly.
