Austin Price

June 2, 1941-December 23, 2017

Austin Price, 76, passed away on Saturday December 23, 2017 at his home after an illness.  He was born June 2, 1941 to the late Lunzie and Jennie Price in which eight children was born.  Austin's parents and six siblings preceded in him in death.

His funeral service was held on Saturday December 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Old Bethel MB Church-Middleburg with Pastor Charley Boyle in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
Austin accepted Christ at an early age at Old Bethel M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor P.G. Gray.
He received his education and graduated from Allen White High School in Whiteville Tennessee.  He  joined the U.S. Army in 1960 and served a total of 10 years.

He was employed by Grissom Stage Mill in Medon Tennessee as a supervisor and remained employed there for approximately 35 years and retired in early 2017.
Austin enjoyed life, loved helping people.  He loved his family with all his heart.  As his health began to fail, he was determined to press on.

Austin leaves to cherish his memories: one son; Arbutus (Charlotte) Price from Nashville, Tennessee: one daughter; Schunn (Eric) Turner of Nashville, Tennessee: one brother; Willie Price of Detroit, Michigan: one sister; Martha Richardson of St. Louis, Missouri: one God Son; Ray Lake of Bolivar, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
