Charlie B. Falls passed away suddenly on Monday December 5, 2016 in Bolivar.  He was born on December 24, 1950 to the late Robert Earl and Estella Smith Falls.

His funeral service was held on Saturday December 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at Hopewell MB Church with Pastor Pearson in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
Charlie confessed Christ at an early age. He was a lifelong member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his church family and did whatever he could for the church. He served as an usher and a member of the male choir.
He attended Hardeman County School System and graduated from Bolivar Industrial High School in 1969.  After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1971 thru 1974 where he was honorably discharged.  He worked various jobs after serving our country until his health failed.
Charlie lived a blessed sixty-five years before he was suddenly called into the Lord’s loving arms. He enjoyed writing poems and singing hymns.  He loved spending time with his family until his last breath.  Charlie was united in Holy Matrimony to Ossie Nell Hardeman on July 29, 1975.  To this union; they was blessed with four children.
Charlie was affectionately called Big Daddy or Boppy by his grandkids.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by three brothers; Willie Lee Falls, Johnny B. Falls and Robert James Falls.
Charlie leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of forty one years; Ossie Nell Falls: three sons; Gabriel DeWayne Falls of Jackson, TN, Jonathan DeShaun (Regena) Falls of Toone, TN and Kendrick Terrelle (Brittany) Falls of Saulsbury, TN: two daughters; Verlisha LaTrina Falls of Bolivar, TN and Taylor Renee Young of Walnut, MS: four granddaughters; Mikaya Falls, Kalisha Standard, Justine Mason, and Carhonda Mason: six grandsons; Malachi Falls, Malik Falls, Gabriel Falls, Jr., Keenan Garrett, Kylan Garrett and Eli Jackson: Four great grandchildren: six sisters-in-law: Annie Falls of Saulsbury, TN, Nancy Falls of Louisville, KY, Elly Falls of St. Louis, MO, Martha Hardeman of Grand Junction, TN, Hazel Golden of Chicago, IL and Margaret Carter of Saginaw, MI: two brothers-in-law; Laverne Hardeman of Lagrange, TN and Chester Hardeman of Chicago, IL: two special friends; Joey and Shirley Hedges and a host of loving nieces,     nephews, cousins and friends that knew him during his sixty-five years on God’s Heavenly Earth.
