Doris Maxine Williams was born February 28, 1945 to the late Melvin & Lois Crisp. She departed this earthly life June 27, 2016 at Bolivar Community Hospital in Bolivar, TN.
Mrs. Doris Williams attended Bolivar Industrial School. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Clover Chapel M.B. Church. She later moved her membership to Campbell Chapel M.B. Church under the leadership of Bishop Jesse Williams. She remained faithful until leaving to be with her husband in his Ministry of Pastoring.
Mrs. Doris Williams was preceded in death by three brothers: Jack, Thomas, and Bobby Crisp.
Mrs. Doris Williams was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert Lee Williams Sr. on November 1, 1969 and to this union two children was born. Together as one, they reared six children.
Mrs. Doris Williams leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Reverend Robert Lee Williams Sr.: four daughters; Lisa Cross, Cassandra (Edwin) Sain, Natalie (Dante’) Gregory and Cawona Ammons: two sons; Robert “Champ” (Denitrea) Williams and Derrick Crisp: three sisters; Mary Taylor, Elma (Jr.) Smith and Retha Williams: one brother; Dan Crisp: sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren: long term friends; Sam & Betty Parham, Jimmie & Dorothy Long, Pastor Johnny & Opal Shaw, Pastor Eugene & Lorrine Ellison and Pastor Algie & Tommie Lou Jarrett and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
