JEAN WALTER PARKER

February 4, 1928 ~ January 9, 2017 (age 88)

Jean Walter “Flip” Parker of Jackson, TN passed away Monday January 9, 2017 at his home.  He was born February 4, 1928 to the late Chester and Channie Parker.

J.W. ”Flip”attended Hardeman County Schools.  He confessed a life in Christ and joined Clover Chapel Baptist Church.  He was a faithful member until his health began to fail. He served as a Deacon at Clover Chapel.

J.W. “Flip” was preceded in death by his wife Vernell: parents; Chester and Channie Chrisp Parker: two sisters; Etta Mae Hill and Rose Stegal: two brothers; Willie “Sip” and Robert “Bill” Parker.

He is survived by his children: Willie “Bubba” Parker, Andrew “Sunny” (Mary) Parker, Charles(Martha) Parker, Louis Parker, Chester “Will” Parker, Patricia Parker, Jacquelin “Jackie” Parker, Warren “Doug” Parker, Eric “Tiny” Parker, Nell “Tina” (John) Grant and Paul Parker: one sister; Katie Lou Jestice: fifteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that will forever cherish his memories.
